Backstage: The Making of Marin Rocks

Marin County has served as the muse for some of the greatest rock legends and anthems in music history.  Since 2007, the Marin History Museum’s curatorial team has been developing story lines, collecting artifacts, photos and memorabilia, conducting interviews, and checking facts for the Marin History Museum Music Center’s inaugural exhibition - Marin Rocks. With recent setbacks to the opening of the Music Center, the Marin History Museum presents Backstage – The Making of Marin Rocks. The public is invited to explore a rare behind the scenes glimpse into what it takes to create a dynamic and visionary exhibition. Get the inside scoop on Marin Rocks by viewing footage of themed build outs, artifact installations, and staff and fabricators in action working hard to complete this exciting project.
