Then and Now: A Century of Change

The 20th Century consisted of a shift in how people lived as a result of changes in politics, society, culture, and technology. Then and Now: A Century of Change gives examples of how simple everyday items and places in Marin have been altered since the early 1900s. All the artifacts and photographs on exhibit have side-by-side comparisons with their contemporary counterparts. This allows visitors to compare and contrast the differences in place and form that have developed through the years. This exhibition expresses all the changes that are constantly around us, leading us into the future.
