Treasures from the Vault

Ever wondered where Marin County’s Coca-Cola factory was, how much houses sold for in the 1940s or where the Grand Opera House was located? Treasures from the Vault answers these questions and more. This exhibition celebrates the Marin History Museum’s 75 years of collecting and caring for the community’s artifacts. From cameras to Coke bottles and Boy Scout badges to Railroad Police badges, the exhibition features a selection of unique, unusual and downright domestic artifacts. All the artifacts and photographs are drawn from the Museum’s collections and each contributes a unique story to the County’s history. Together, these stories honor Marin’s past and inspire future generations.
