MARIN HISTORY MUSEUM HOSTS HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8
SAN RAFAEL, CA - The Marin History Museum is hosting a Holiday Open House to show the community what all the 'buzz' is about regarding its plans for a new state-of-the-art museum. The Open House will feature the latest drawings by Academy Studios of the exhibits for of the new museum. Visitors will also see first hand the dramatic changes that the Boyd Gate House has currently undergone, as it gets ready to become a 'period' house. The festivities will be held in the Boyd Gate House at 1125 B Street in San Rafael on Thursday, December 8, 4-7 p.m. In addition to showing off its new finery, the Gate House will be festooned for the season. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served and guests are invited to participate in the Museum's Giving Tree. Start your holiday shopping early at the Museum Store featuring jewelry, new 2006 calendars, notecards and books on Marin's history.
