Marin County has served as the muse for some of the greatest rock legends and anthems in music history. Marin Rocks explores the Marin music scene, beginning in the 1960s when Marin’s musicians, recording studios and clubs gained international attention. This exciting exhibition will be featured in a new, state-of-the-art gallery in the heart of San Rafael. This new gallery will host numerous interactive components utilizing sound and video recordings combined with displayed rock posters, photographs, instruments, and vintage sound equipment, encouraging visitors to immerse themselves in the sound and visuals of Marin’s multi-faceted rock history. >> more
