Have a US Army Corps of Engineers Park Ranger docent-guided tour of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay- Delta Model — THE ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD! Our tour “Back in Time” covers information from historic sea level rises to the birth of the SF Bay Estuary. It also includes California Earth History timelines of changes both natural and how humans transformed the land from one use to another in a short period.In addition, there is a mention of how the water and waves tell a story, how the gyres and multiple currents under the GG Bridge are formed, and why the water in the “Potato Patch” is so turbulent.
